Q: Is there a quota or limit for selected participants?
A: The total quota allocated for the MMRFC26 program is 36 Participants, with 6 participants assigned to each sustainability partner.
Q: I am a foreign national with a KITAS. Can I register for the MMRFC26 program?
A: Yes. This program is open to all nationalities, whether residing in Indonesia or outside Indonesia.
Q: Can I register more than once, either under the same pillar or different pillars?
A: No. Duplicate registrations are not permitted. If duplication is detected, only the first registration will be considered valid. However, during registration, applicants will have the opportunity to select two pillars based on their priority.
Q: What is the registration fee/donation for MMRFC26 participants?
A: The MMRFC26 registration fee/donation is IDR 500,000 for both Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals. The entire registration fee will be donated, regardless of whether the applicant is selected or not in the MMRFC26 program.
Q: What are the technical details of the fundraising activities if I am selected?
A: Selected participants will attend an orientation session with the sustainability partners and will be guided on how to conduct fundraising using the platform provided by the sustainability partners.
Q: If I fail to raise more than IDR 10 million, what are the consequences?
A: Participants who fail to raise more than IDR 10 million by the end of the fundraising period will not be permitted to participate on Race Day. However, the funds already raised will still be distributed to the selected sustainability partner. Participants may add donations from their own funds to reach the target and remain eligible to participate. If the participant declines, their participation will be cancelled.
Q: If I am officially registered in MMRFC26 and my results in Maybank Marathon 2026 place me on the podium, can I still receive the podium prize?
A: Yes. If the race results place the participant on the podium in accordance with the race rules, the podium prize will still be awarded.
Q: If I am not selected through the public drawing, can I still register for Maybank Marathon 2026 through Maybank Marathon Run For Charity?
A: Yes. Applicants may still register and will have the same opportunity as other prospective participants.
Q: Can the guaranteed slot for Maybank Marathon 2027 be converted into cash?
A: No. The guaranteed slot cannot be converted into cash or transferred to another person.
Q: What happens if I cancel my participation for personal reasons?
A: If the cancellation is due to personal reasons, no compensation will be provided. However, the participant will be subject to a two-year suspension from participating in future Maybank Marathon events.
Q: What happens if I cancel my participation due to an injury sustained during training, supported by a doctor’s letter?
A: If the cancellation is due to a training injury and is verified by a specialist doctor’s examination, the participant may be exempted from the suspension for the following Maybank Marathon event.
Q: What happens if I cancel my participation due to force majeure?
A: If the cancellation is due to force majeure, the participant may be exempted from liability for material losses.
Q: Is there an official written contract that I must sign if I am selected for MMRFC26?
A: No.
Q: If I am an employee of Maybank Group/Indonesia or its subsidiaries, can I still register?
A: Yes, you may still register.
Q: I participated last year as a Maybank Marathon Run For Charity runner and achieved the target. Can I register again in this category this year? What happens to my recognition status?
A: Yes, you may register again. However, you must still go through the same selection and evaluation process as other applicants in this category. If you are not selected, you may use the recognition obtained to continue your participation in Maybank Marathon 2026. If you are selected again as a Run For Charity runner, the recognition cannot be transferred to another runner.
