Restricted Profit Sharing Investment Account iB (RPSIA iB)

RPSIA iB (Restricted Profit Sharing Investment Account iB) is an investment product where the Customer as an investor can choose productive assets with certain characteristics to be financed with a profit sharing mechanism in accordance with Customer’s respective risk appetite.

With Mudharabah Muqayyadah contract, the productive assets that can be financed by the Customer can be in the form of Sharia financing distributed by the Bank for certain projects or businesses.

Note:

Customer places the capital through Maybank to be channelled to the specified financing asset agreed by both parties.
The financing asset offered has met the Bank's assessment criteria.

Product Features

Minimum Fund Placement	Rp 10 billion or International Currency which is equivalent to it Fund placement must be less than or equal to (≤) the underlying investment/ financing value
Tenor	As per the underlying investment/ financing tenor The tenor of the fund placement must be less than or equal to (≤) the underlying investment/ financing tenor
Profit Sharing Ratio (PSR)	Distribution of profit from the investment/ financing according to the pre-agreed PSR
Withdrawal of fund prior to the Investment/ Financing maturity	Customer (Rabbul Maal) is not allowed to withdraw his fund prior to the Investment/ Financing maturity The RPSIA agreement will be automatically terminated once the Investment/ Financing has matured.
Underlying Investment/ Financing	A Shariah financing granted by Maybank to the Global Banking customers for the purpose of investment and working capital for productive works such as infrastructure, manufacturing, project financing and others. The Customer as capital provider (shahibul maal) has the right to analyse the investment/ fianancing asset subject to the Bank's internal policy.
