The Secondary Market, on the other hand, is a continuation of the Primary Market, where tradable SBN/SBSN can be bought and sold between investors after the Minimum Holding Period (MHP) ends.
Generally, the return offered shall be higher compared to interest rate on conventional savings.
Customers can receive passive income on a regular basis in the form of coupons/returns that will be directly credited to their accounts at the predetermined amount. The coupons/returns are specified at the time of purchase and are in fixed rate.
This investment is safe because the Government of the Republic of Indonesia guarantees the payment of coupons/returns and the principal amount for bonds issued by the government, in accordance with Law No. 24 of 2002.
SBN can be traded in Secondary Market at any time. Customers can realize a profit from the sale price if they sell at a price higher than the acquisition cost at the time of purchase.
