Dear Valued Customers,

As a part of our commitment to always prioritizing security and convenience in your transactions, below we inform you of the Changes in Provisions Regarding Request for Maybank ATM/Debit Cards which are Effective 13th February 2023.

Request Maybank ATM/Debit Card via Current terms New terms
Maybank Branch
  • Maybank ATM/Debit Cards are given when the Customer opens an account or based on the Customer's request because the card is lost/damaged/swallowed in the ATM machine/the card has expired.
  • There is no minimum balance requirement for requesting/replacing/printing Maybank ATM/Debit Cards.
  • Maybank ATM/ Debit Cards are given to Customers who open an account or there is a request for a Maybank ATM/ Debit Card. Especially for Customers who request Maybank ATM / Debit Cards when opening an account, they must have a minimum balance of IDR100,000 in the account, and are not charged a card issuance fee.
  •  Maybank ATM/Debit Cards whose validity period has expired can be replaced without a minimum balance and no card replacement fee is charged. Whereas for Maybank ATM/ Debit Cards that are lost or damaged, the replacement will be charged a card replacement fee following the applicable provisions as informed via the website.
 
M2U ID App (mobile banking)
  • New Customers (New to Bank) Immediately get a Maybank ATM/Debit Card number which is automatically generated by the system after successfully opening an account. Maybank ATM/ Debit Cards will be sent to the Customer's address recorded in the Maybank system.
  • There is no minimum balance requirement for requesting/replacing/printing Maybank ATM/Debit Cards.
  • New Customers (New to Bank) who successfully open an indirect account will receive a Maybank ATM/Debit Card number, A customer who requests a Maybank ATM/Debit Card can submit a request through the Card Management menu via M2U ID App (mobile banking) and is required to have a minimum balance of IDR100,000 in the account, and is not charged a card issuance fee. 
  • Maybank ATM/ Debit Cards whose validity period has expired, been lost or damaged can be replaced by submitting a request through the Card Management menu via the M2U ID App (mobile banking), without a minimum balance and a card issuance fee will be charged automatically in the system , specifically for card replacement because the card validity period has expired, the fee will be returned to the account which will be shown the following month in your monthly account statement.
