President Commissioner
Malaysia citizen. Appointed as Commissioner since 11 November 2013. Started his career in the Maybank Group in Aseambankers(1992-1994) after graduating from Pennsylvania State University, USA in 1991 with a B.Sc degree in Accounting, and from University of Denver, USA in 1991 with an MBA in Finance. He also attended Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Programme in early 2013. He broadened his career in investment banking and capital markets with multi-national institutions like Schroders (1994-1995) and JP Morgan (1997-2005), as well as with Malaysia's Malaysian International Merchant Bankers and Khazanah Nasional Berhad, the latter as Investment Director from 2005 to 2008. While he was at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, he sat on the boards of several public listed companies such as PLUS Expressway Berhad, UEM World Berhad and UEM Builders Berhad(2005-2008). Since re-joining Maybank on 1 January 2009, he has held the position of Head of International Business and subsequently Deputy President and Head, Global Banking (then known as Global Wholesale Banking).
Commissioner
Indonesian Citizen. Currently he serves as a Commissioner of Maybank Group since 2015. He has more than 40 years of working experience in a number of corporations. He was a Vice President, Head of Treasury at Citibank N.A. from 1972 to 1997. He then moved to Atlantic Richfield in 1997 as Senior Advisor until 1999. Subsequently, He joined Bank Mandiri as the Executive Vice President, Treasury and International in 1999 to 2000 and thereafter left the bank to take on the role as the Chief Executive Officer of Indonesian Banking Restructuring Agency from 2000 to 2001.
He had served a number of key positions as a member/President of Board of Commissioners/Directors of banking institutions and private companies. Amongst them were as Independent Commissioner of Bank Central Asia (2002-2003), Independent Commissioner of Bank Danamon (2003-2005), President Commissioner of Bank Mandiri (2005-2014) and President Director of PT BHP Billiton Indonesia (2007-2013). Previously, he served as an Independent Commissioner of PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance since December 2014. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Principia College, Elsah, Illinois, United States of America.

Malaysian citizen, Datuk Lim Hong Tat's last position was as the Group CEO, Community Financial Services (CFS) at Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank) before he retired in July 2018. Datuk Lim Hong Tat joined Malayan Banking Berhad after graduating from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1981. Datuk Lim Hong Tat has 37 years of experience covering all aspects of banking, he has managed branches, regional banking, credit cards and international banking operations including holding a senior management position as Director / President and CEO of Maybank Philippines Incorporated, Head of International Banking, Head of Consumer Banking, Head of Community Financial Services, Malaysia and CEO of Maybank Singapore / Country Head Singapore.
He has held several key positions including as a Member of the Visa Client Council for Asia Pacific, Member of the Board of the European Financial Management Association, Associate Member of the International Academy of Retail Banking and Director of Maybank Philippines Inc., and Mutiara Mortgage & Credit Sdn Bhd., A subsidiary wholly owned by the Sarawak Housing Ministry.

Indonesian citizen. Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk since 27 August 2010 (received BI approval on 1 April 2011). Her carrier began as Auditor at Public Accountant Firm (KAP) Drs. Utomo & Co. (SGV/Arthur Andersen) (1982-1984). She continued as an auditor at Price Waterhouse Sydney, Australia and then at Price Waterhouse Jakarta/KAP Drs Hadi Sutanto & Rekan (1986-1989). Then she changed to tax consultancy and became Tax Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Indonesia (1989-2005). She was an advisor to the Special Committee on Taxation Act, the Commission XI - House of Representatives of Indonesia (2006-2009), then Lecturer in MAKSI/ PPAK-Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia since 2007. Currently she serves a Technical Advisor of PT Prima Wahana Caraka (PwC-Tax, Indonesia) since 2010. She earned her degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia in 1984.
Independent Commissioner
Indonesian Citizen. He appointed as PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk Independent Commissioner on 22 April 2013. Prior to his assignment in Maybank Indonesia, he was a President Commissioner of BNI Syariah since 2010. He has also served as Independent Commissioner of BNI 2003-2010 and BNP Paribas Indonesia (2005-June 2007). Since 1975 – 2002 he assumed various positions in Bank Indonesia and the latest position was Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia (1998-2002). He earned a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia (1973), a Master of Arts in Economics from Duke University (1984) and Master Degree in Business Law from Padjadjaran University (2003).

Indonesian Citizen. Currently Dr. Hendar, SE, MA currently serves as President Commissioner for a sugar company in Indonesia and Lecturer at Lembaga Pengembangan Perbankan Indonesia (LPPI). He has more than 30 years of working experience in Central Bank of Indonesia. Commenced his career in 1993 focusing in Credit area, he then moved to Statistic Payment & Balance Sheet and handling Economic Research & Monetary Policy (1995-1997). He took a bigger role as Department Head of Statistic Payment & Balance Sheet (1997-2003), and thereafter moved back to Policy Planning & Analysis area in 2013. His career continued as Head of Monetary Policy Bureau (2003-2009). He was appointed as Executive Director of Monetary Management (2009-2013) and then as Deputy of Governor in 2013-2016.
He holds a Doctoral Degree in Business Management from Padjajaran University, Indonesia.
