Maybank Customer who already has Maybank Savings Account in M2U ID App application can open another Maybank Savings Account, by following this step:
Login to M2U ID App
Click yellow plus button in account section - click Savings Account – choose Maybank Saving Account type and Maybank Savings Account product- continue the steps of opening an account in the application ,
or click menu on top of left – click add another application – click Savings Account - choose Maybank Saving Account type and Maybank Savings Account product- continue the steps of opening an account in the application
You can download M2U ID at Playstore/Appstore – Choose Register Maybank2U – Choose Yes (already have Maybank Savings Account) - continue the steps of opening an account in the application.
Every Indonesian Citizen (WNI) who has an Identity Card (KTP) and is recorded in the Population Data of the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs (Dukcapil).
The passcode must consist of 5 – 8 digit numbers and make sure not to use the same number repeatedly (e.g: 11111) and consecutive numbers (e.g: 12345).
Make sure the email you registered is active. If your email is inactive, at the step of "send activation link to your email”, you should click "Update e-mail” and input your active email to receive Secure2U activation link.
What if I have downloaded the M2U ID, but can't access it?
I have finished filling the data, but still can’t continue.
Answer :
Exit from the application (force quit)
Make sure your M2U ID App is updated
Fill your mobile phone number and e-mail data again, then continue filling the data
If still can't, you can try to reinstall your M2U ID App.
If it still can't, you can come to the nearest Maybank branch to be assisted by Customer Service.

What if I have already tried registering a Maybank online account on the M2U ID App, but it didn't complete.
Appears on the screen:
"You have an incomplete [Savings/Haji/Salary] account opening process. Would you like to continue opening the previous account?"
Answer
You can re-enter mobile phone number and email. You will receive a notification with option to continue the data that has already been filled in or to repeat data entry.

What if I don't get an SMS Verification Code/OTP/TAC?
Answer
Exit the application (force quit/close).
Repeat filling in the mobile phone number and email data, then continue filling in the data
Make sure your mobile phone credit is filled and your smartphone provider's signal is stable
Make sure your mobile phone provider is not in a grace period
Turn on airplane mode on your mobile phone for 3 minutes. Then turn off airplane mode and return to normal mode
Restart your mobile phone
Make sure the SMS inbox is not full
Not using SMS filters.
For Postpaid phone credit users, check the limit and make sure your bill has been paid.

What if I can't login to the M2U ID application/there is no fruit image on the login screen?
Answer
Close the application by swiping up, then activate the airplane mode for 3 minutes, then turn off the airplane mode. Then please try to logging in again.
If you still can't login, make sure your mobile phone software is using the latest updated version* and also make sure your M2U ID application is updated**
*To see the software version of your mobile phone: Click Setting - General - Software update
**To see M2U version: Open Appstore/Playstore - search M2U ID (Maybank2U ID) - click Maybank2U ID. You can see the version. If it hasn't been updated, please update it first.

What if I forget my password, enter the wrong password 3 times and my account is locked?

Open the M2U ID Apps, click the help icon at the top right, click unlock User ID. User ID unlock guide : Click here
If the User ID is unlocked, on the M2U login screen, click help at the top right, click forgot password.
Enter your registered account number and ATM Card PIN to verify forgot password. Forget password guide: Click here
After successfully changing the password, please login again on M2U ID apps.
