Maybank Indonesia Won the 2024 ABF Retail Banking Award

PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (Maybank Indonesia or Bank) received the "Wealth Management Platform of The Year – Indonesia" award at the 2024 Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards for the achievements recorded by the Wealth Management business.

In 2023, Maybank Indonesia recorded a growth in fee-based income of 190% over the last nine years, growing consistently by 13% yearly.

The Asian Banking Finance & Retail Banking Awards is an awards program for the banking and finance industry at the Asian level. It aims to recognize and appreciate the region's financial and banking institutions adept at changing the retail banking landscape.

Acting President Director of Maybank Indonesia Steffano Ridwan said that 'Wealth Management' is one of Maybank Indonesia's mainstay businesses. "The 2024 Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards is proof of the recognition that Maybank Indonesia has received at the Asian level for its innovative products, financial services, and services that are beneficial to Wealth Management Bank customers," he said today.

Maybank Indonesia's Wealth Management service prioritizes a customer-centric approach to providing comprehensive solutions and services. Through the M25+ strategy, namely "One Maybank," customers can easily access conventional banking products, insurance, and investment instruments such as mutual funds and retail bonds from both Maybank Indonesia and its subsidiary network.

Steffano said that to develop this business, Maybank Indonesia will be more aggressive in building partnership strategies with leading business partners from the insurance and investment industries. This will also allow customers to utilize services such as loans and securities through Maybank Indonesia's wider network of subsidiaries and affiliated companies.

Maybank Indonesia also launched the Shariah Wealth Management (SWM) solution offering a comprehensive approach to support customers’ wealth management needs applying Shariah principles, especially for wealth purification and distribution.

Maybank Indonesia has also equipped its services with 360 Digital Wealth, an innovative financial management feature in the M2U Internet banking platform that integrates all customer financial activities.
