Dear Valued Customers,

We would like to inform you that an additional clause will be added to the Terms and Conditions of the Maybank Credit Card. Other than this addition, there are no changes to the existing provisions up to Article XXI.

Accordingly, please find below Article XXII regarding Personal Data Protection:

1. All data, information, and/or documents that the Credit Cardholder provides to Maybank for the purpose of granting/providing Credit Card facilities (“Purpose”) are true, accurate, and constitute current data and documents consistent with the originals (if provided in the form of copies). If there are changes to the data and/or documents, the Credit Cardholder is obligated to notify Maybank of such changes in writing and/or verbally, accompanied by supporting data/documents. If the data, information, and/or documents provided by the Credit Cardholder are incorrect, Maybank shall not be liable for any consequences arising from the provision of such data, information, and/or documents.
2. The Credit Cardholder agrees and authorizes Maybank to use, manage, disclose, or conduct checks/verifications of information with third parties collaborating with or appointed by the Bank, regarding all data, details, information, and documents received by the Bank concerning the Credit Cardholder, including but not limited to personal data, transactions, status, and collectability.
3. If any data, information, and/or documents belonging to a third party are provided or submitted by the Credit Cardholder to Maybank, the Credit Cardholder represents and warrants that they have obtained valid consent from such third parties to provide such data, information, and/or documents to Maybank for use during the period necessary in connection with the fulfillment of the Purpose, and Maybank will store such data, information, and/or documents belonging to third parties in accordance with Maybank’s applicable data security standards.
4. The Credit Cardholder understands that Maybank processes Personal Data and applies Personal Data protection principles in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection, including any amendments thereto from time to time (hereinafter referred to as the PDP Law) and its implementing regulations, including Financial Services Authority regulations issued in the future. Credit Cardholders may read a summary of Maybank’s Personal Data processing policy in the Maybank Privacy Notice, which is accessible at any time on the Maybank website www.maybank.co.id under the Security and Privacy section. Maybank will update the Privacy Notice from time to time in accordance with Maybank’s policies and/or to fulfill Maybank’s obligations under applicable laws and regulations. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the Credit Cardholder declares that they have read and understood Maybank’s explanation
5. If at a later date, for any reason, Maybank provides Personal Data belonging to the authorized party representing Maybank to the Credit Cardholder, the Credit Cardholder agrees and understands that the Credit Cardholder will apply the principles of Personal Data protection in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. The Credit Cardholder agrees to be held responsible if they disclose Personal Data obtained from Maybank to any third party.
