Definition
Maybank is PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk.
Maybank2u is an electronic banking service provided by Maybank that can be used or accessed by the Customer to obtain banking information and / or transactions via the internet using a computer and / or cellphone / mobile phone .
Maybank SMS+ Banking is an electronic banking service provided by Maybank that can be used or accessed by Customers to obtain banking information and / or conduct banking transactions via SMS ( Short Message Sevice ) on cellular phones / cellphones whose numbers have been registered in Maybank data for used for Maybank SMS+ Banking transactions .
Customer is the owner of a savings account and / or current account at Maybank that will be / has been registered by Maybank as a user of the Maybank SMS+ Banking or Maybank2u service.
Maybank2u Registration Number is a row of numbers that will be obtained by the Customer when registering user-id via Maybank ATM. Maybank2u Registration Number consists of 15 (fifteen) numeric digits and is printed on the Maybank ATM customer receipt.
SMS Alert is a notification form sent by the reference number to the customer after the transaction Maybank Maybank SMS+ Banking conducted by the Customer and the notification is delivered via SMS to a mobile phone number / cell phone the Customer registered in Maybank.
Cellular Operators are cellular telephone service providers / cellphones originating from Indonesia.
Maybank SMS+ Banking PIN ( Personal Identification Number ) is a row of numbers or a row of numbers for transactions using SMS media which are confidential in nature and are not permitted to be disclosed to other parties.
PIN ( Personal Identification Number ) for Maybank2u Registration is a row of numbers used by a Customer to register for Maybank2u, which is confidential in nature and cannot be disclosed to other parties.
SMS ( Short Message Service ) is a short notification or short message in the form of text that can be received and / or sent by a cellular telephone / handphone and the text can be seen or read on the screen of the cellular telephone / handphone.
SMS TAC (Transaction Authorization Code) Maybank2u is a series of numbers such as OTP ( One Time Password ), which consists of eight (8) digit number (if accessed through a computer) or four (4) digit number (if accessed via mobile phone) that is an additional authentication for conducting financial transactions through Maybank2u other than user-id and password. Maybank2u TAC SMS will be sent by Maybank via SMS to Customer's cellular / mobile phone .
VPN (Virtual Private Network) network services provided by third parties so that internet users (including customers) can access the internet by changing the connection path through third party servers and hiding the exchange and / or data traffic that occurs
Registration
Customers who intend to get Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking facilities are required to fill in and complete the Registration Form for Use of Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking and comply with procedures or other requirements set and / or will be determined and delivered from time to time. by Maybank to the Customer.
Terms of Use of Maybank2u and Maybank SMS + Banking Facilities+ Banking
Use of Maybank2u
Customer must have software and computer or cellular phone / mobile phone specifications in accordance with Maybank regulations.
Customer must register to receive SMS TAC Maybank2u to Maybank by way of (i) for the individual customer, registration can be done through the nearest Maybank branch; or (ii) for business entity Customers, registration can only be done through the branch office that maintains the account.
When the Customer logs in for the first time ( first time log-in ) at Maybank2u, the Customer is required to enter the Maybank2u Registration Number and the Maybank2u Registration PIN.
After the procedure or mechanism required by Maybank has been successfully implemented, the Customer is required to create a Maybank2u user-id and password which can then be used to log-in to Maybank2u.
For every transaction through Maybank2u
The customer is obliged to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the transaction order (including ensuring that all data required for the transaction have been filled in completely and correctly). Maybank is not responsible for any impacts / consequences that may arise due to negligence, incompleteness, obscurity, or inaccuracy of orders / data from the Customer.
The Customer has 1 (one) opportunity to re-check and / or cancel the data that has been filled in when the confirmation screen is displayed automatically by the system. Cancellation can be done by pressing the cancel button.
For every transaction through Maybank2u, the Customer will be asked to request a Maybank2u TAC SMS . 1 (one) SMS TAC Maybank2u only valid for 1 (one) transaction and is valid for a period of time specified in each SMS TAC Maybank2u were received by the Customer.
To find out or ensure that Maybank has executed every order / instruction from the Customer, Maybank will display a confirmation screen on Maybank2u which contains (i) a statement that the transaction has been successfully executed; and (ii) reference number information as proof of transaction through Maybank2u.
As long as the Customer meets the requirements set by Maybank, the Customer can use Maybank2u. The types of banking information and / or transactions that can be used through Maybank2u will be notified from time to time by Maybank.
Customer cannot cancel any Customer's order / instruction that has been given or sent to Maybank for any reason. The Customer is responsible for all consequences arising from carrying out the Customer's orders / instructions.
Every order / instruction from the Customer received by Maybank
is a valid instruction and Maybank is not obliged to examine, investigate or ensure the accuracy or authenticity of the instructions ,
will be recognized by the Customer and shall be treated as valid evidence, although not made in a written document or other document which is signed and
will be kept by Maybank in accordance with Maybank's policy and the Customer acknowledges and agrees that the order / instruction from the Customer kept by Maybank is the correct order / instruction and constitutes valid and binding evidence
Maybank is not obliged to carry out Customer's orders / instructions if:
Customer's funds / balance in the Maybank account is insufficient or below the minimum balance set by Maybank,
Execution of Customer's orders / instructions by Maybank causes the Customer's funds / account balance to be below the minimum balance set by Maybank,
Maybank, based on its own considerations, has reasons to suspect that a fraud or transaction has violated applicable legal provisions,
There are instructions issued by the competent authority which must be obeyed
SMS TAC Maybank2u sent to the mobile phone / mobile Customer Customer's acceptable provided that the inbox ( inbox ) mobile phone / cell phone the Customer is not full and / or no interference on the network system Mobile Operator.
Proof of a Maybank2u transaction carried out by the Customer is a record of the mutation of the Customer's savings account or current account at Maybank.
Maybank is not responsible for any losses suffered by the Customer in relation to:
Any loss / damage caused by the equipment, software , provider of web browser or cellular phone / mobile phone or by Internet Service Providers ( " ISPs ") or its agents;
Any computer virus interference or trojan horse systems or other harmful components that can interfere with Maybank2u's services, web browsers or computer systems of the Bank, the Customer or the ISP ;
Use of an unauthorized ISP ;
Use of VPN for registering and/or transactions ;
Any purpose for using the user-id and password;
Any errors in the instruction transmission Customer or Customer instruction that might be transmitted through Maybank2u or transmitting any data or other information by the Bank through Maybank2u;
All inaccurate or incomplete Customer's orders / instructions submitted through Maybank2u ;
All negligence by the Customer to follow the latest instructions, procedures and instructions for using the internet submitted by Maybank ;
Any delays or refusals to carry out the Customer's orders / instructions are conveyed through Maybank2u ;
Any loss of either direct, indirect or other consequences or related to the use of Maybank2u ;
All forms of use of Maybank2u TAC SMS, Maybank2u user-id and password , including but not limited to theft / duplication / loss / forgery of Customer's phone number and / or SIM card connected to the Maybank2u facility
Customer may grant permission to Maybank to access the inbox ( inbox ) cellular phone / mobile customer to use the features of auto grab SMS TAC Maybank2u, so that the Customer does not need to list the number of OTP contained in the SMS TAC Maybank2u into Maybank2u application.
Use of Maybank SMS+ Banking
The Customer is required to have a SIM card / Cellular Operator SIM card that has been determined by the Bank.
Before using SMS Maybank+ Banking, Customer must activate the mobile phone number / cell phone in advance in accordance with the provisions of Maybank.
As long as the Customer meets the requirements set by Maybank, the Customer can use the Maybank SMS+ Banking. The types of information and / or banking transactions that can be used via Maybank SMS+ Banking will be notified from time to time by Maybank.
Orders / instructions given by the customer can only be done / given to Maybank through a mobile phone number / mobile Customers that have registered in Maybank.
Customer must fill in all data or information required for every Maybank SMS+ Banking transaction correctly and completely.
Every order / instruction from the Customer that has been given or sent to Maybank cannot be canceled for any reason and the Customer is responsible for all consequences arising from carrying out the Customer's order / instruction.
Every order / instruction from the Customer received by Maybank:
is a valid instruction and the Bank is not obliged to examine, investigate, or ensure the accuracy or authenticity of the instruction.
will be acknowledged by the Customer and treated as valid evidence even though it is not made in a written document or other signed document.
will be kept by Maybank in accordance with Maybank's policy and the Customer acknowledges and agrees that the order / instruction from the Customer kept by Maybank is the correct order / instruction and is valid and binding evidence
To know or ensure that Maybank has carried out every order / instruction from the Customer, then: (i) Maybank will send an SMS Notification; or (ii) Customers can check transactions or account balances at Maybank ATMs or by contacting Maybank Customer Care or by contacting the nearest Maybank office.
The SMS notification as referred to in point 8 above will be sent and received by the Customer provided that the inbox ( inbox ) of the Customer's cellular / mobile phone is not full and / or there is no interference with the Cellular Operator's system network.
Maybank is not obliged to carry out Customer's orders / instructions if:
Funds / Customer's account balance is insufficient or below the minimum balance set by Maybank,
Execution of Customer's orders / instructions by Maybank causes the Customer's funds / account balance to be below the minimum balance set by Maybank,
Maybank, based on its sole discretion, has reason to suspect that a fraud or transaction has violated applicable legal provisions.

For every successful or unsuccessful Maybank SMS+ Banking transaction , a fee will be charged by the Cellular Operator and all costs will be borne by the Customer.
Proof of a Maybank SMS+ Banking transaction carried out by the Customer is a record of the mutation of the Customer 's savings account or current account at Maybank.
Customer is obliged to notify Maybank if there is a change in the cellular / mobile phone number used to make Maybank SMS+ Banking transactions .
Maybank is not responsible for any losses suffered by the Customer in relation to:
Any misuse of the Maybank SMS+ Banking PIN which is the responsibility of the Customer ;
All orders, transactions, and communications using Maybank SMS+ Banking which are the responsibility of the Customer ;
Cancellation of transaction instructions / orders that have been executed by Maybank ;
Any errors or problems related to telecommunication links / networks ;
All orders / instructions from the Customer that are inaccurate or incomplete, submitted via Maybank SMS+ Banking ;
Any negligence by the Customer to follow the latest instructions and procedures submitted by Maybank ;
Any delays or refusals to carry out the Customer's orders / instructions are conveyed via Maybank SMS+ Banking ;
Any loss of either direct, indirect or other consequences or related to the Customer's mistake or negligence in using Maybank SMS+ Banking ;
Any loss suffered by the Customer and / or any third party due to late notification of changes in the mobile phone number / cell phone used relates to the use Maybank Customer SMS+ Banking ;
All forms of use of Maybank SMS+ Banking that arise from things including but not limited to theft / duplication / loss / forgery of the Customer's telephone number and / or SIM card connected to the Maybank SMS+ Banking facility
Maybank2u TAC SMS , User-ID, Maybank2u Password and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking PIN
Customer must maintain the confidentiality of SMS TAC Maybank2u , user-id and password Maybank2u and / or PIN Maybank SMS+ Banking.
SMS TAC Maybank2u , user-id and password Maybank2u and / or PIN Maybank SMS+ Banking can only be used by the Customer.
Customers can change the Maybank2u user-id and password and / or the Maybank SMS + Banking PIN in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to Maybank.
Any misuse of the SMS TAC Maybank2u , user-id and password Maybank2u and / or PIN Maybank SMS+ Banking are the sole responsibility of the Customer. The Customer hereby indemnifies Maybank for any loss and legal claims / lawsuits made by any party.
Blocking and Termination of Access to Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS + Banking Facilities
Maybank will block Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS + Banking facilities if:
incorrectly entered Maybank2u user-id and / or password and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking 3 (three) consecutive times,
there is certain consideration from Maybank and such considerations do not need to be conveyed to the Customer,
there is a block proposed by the customer. Especially for the Maybank SMS+ Banking facility, including blocking due to loss of SIM card or cellular phone / handphone,
Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking are used for transactions prohibited by applicable legal provisions,
there is an instruction issued by the competent authority which must be obeyed.
Maybank will terminate the Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking facilities if:
Customer submits an application to Maybank to terminate the Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking facilities,
The Customer and / or Maybank close all accounts that can be accessed by the Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking facilities,
Customer violates the terms and conditions of Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking or other conditions that will be determined by Maybank from time to time,
Maybank terminated Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking facilities ,
Cellular Operator or Customer terminates Customer's cellular / mobile phone number or cooperation between Maybank and Cellular Operator is terminated in order to provide Maybank SMS+ Banking service facilities (specifically for Maybank SMS+ Banking facilities),
Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking are used for transactions prohibited by applicable legal provisions ,
there are instructions issued by the competent authority which must be obeyed.
If Maybank has terminated or blocked the Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking facilities and the Customer wants to reuse the Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking facilities, the Customer is required to carry out the re-registration procedure as well as other procedures that will be determined by Maybank from time to time.
Etc
The headings in these terms and conditions are solely for ease of reading and do not aim to define, describe, change, or limit the rights and / or obligations of the Customer and Maybank or cause other interpretations of these terms and conditions.
The Customer will release Maybank from all losses, demands or lawsuits from any party if Maybank is unable to carry out the instructions / orders given by the Customer or if the implementation of Customer's instructions / orders by Maybank causes losses to any party, including because the instructions cannot be carried out / Customer's orders, either partially or completely due to causes or events beyond Maybank's control and ability, such as natural disasters, war, riots, state of equipment, non-functioning systems / transmissions, electricity / telecommunication disruptions, government / Bank Indonesia policies which must be obeyed by Maybank or other causes / events beyond the control of Maybank and also losses due to negligence or mistakes made by the Customer.
The Customer is obliged to immediately notify Maybank if there is a change in Customer data and / or if there is a problem related to the Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking facilities. Specifically for the Customer's objection related to the Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking transactions , the Customer will only be served by Maybank if the objection is submitted within 2 days from the date of the Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS+ Banking transactions made by the Customer.
For Maybank SMS+ Banking transactions , the Customer will contact the relevant Cellular Operator if there are any problems related to the Customer's SIM Card / cellular phone / cellphone card, the Cellular Operator's network or service as well as SMS costs or other problems related to the relationship between the Customer and the Cellular Operator.
If in carrying out the instructions / orders received from the Customer, Maybank requires a power of attorney from the Customer, then the power of attorney has been deemed given by the Customer to Maybank as soon as the Customer signs the Registration Form to Use Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS + Banking or when the Customer registers, unless Maybank requires a separate and special power of attorney or there are legal provisions requiring a separate power of attorney to be made for it. All power of attorney cannot be revoked or canceled without prior approval from Maybank.
The Customer agrees to the validity, correctness of every record, tape / cartridge, recording, electronic communication between Maybank and the Customer, including computer print-outs or copies or forms of storage made by Maybank or data shown by Maybank and all of them constitute one- only valid evidence for transactions of Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS + Banking.
All fees (s) associated with conducting transactions using Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS + Banking are the burden and responsibility of the Customer. All costs will be debited directly by Maybank when the order / transaction instruction from the Customer is executed by Maybank. The amount of fee (s) will be notified from time to time by Maybank. The Customer hereby authorizes Maybank to debit the Customer's account in order to settle / pay the Customer's obligations.
If one of these terms and conditions is declared null and void based on a statutory regulation, then the cancellation statement does not reduce the validity or cause the other terms and conditions to be canceled, and therefore in such case, the other terms and conditions remain valid and have binding force. for Customers and Maybank.
Failure, delay, or delay of Maybank to exercise its rights based on these terms and conditions or failure, delay, or delay of Maybank to ask the Customer to comply with these terms and conditions, will not be considered as a waiver or waiver of rights, powers, or demands by Maybank to then demand the fulfillment of the provisions of these terms and conditions.

Termination of these terms and conditions overrides the provisions of Article 1266 of the Civil Code.

The customer agrees to all of these terms and conditions if there are changes in the future.
As long as it does not conflict with these terms and conditions, the Terms and Conditions of Account Operation apply to transactions of Maybank2u and / or Maybank SMS + Banking.
Indication of Cheating
Maybank, including its directors / employees or any other party representing Maybank is prohibited from requesting and / or receiving an amount of money and / or gifts or anything in any form from the Customer apart from what is agreed in these terms and conditions . Any action / action requesting and / or receiving an amount of money and / or gifts or something in any form from the Customer other than what is agreed in these terms and conditions constitutes a deviation or a violation of fraud in conducting Maybank business activities.
Customers are prohibited from giving an amount of money and / or gifts or something in any form other than what was agreed in the terms and conditions , to the directors / employees or any other party who represents Maybank.
If the Customer is aware of any indication / incident of irregularities or violations of fraud committed by the directors / employees of Maybank or any other party representing Maybank, or is asked to provide something in any form other than what was agreed in the Agreement to Maybank directors / employees or Any other party representing Maybank, the Customer is obliged to convey to the Maybank whistleblower hotline via e-mail at whistleblowing@maybank.co.id or short message service (sms) / whatsapp at 0878 99000 100.
In relation to paragraph 3 of this article, Maybank will guarantee the confidentiality of all information / data provided by the Customer as the reporter, including the identity of the Customer as the reporter.
