Benefits of Rumahku Plus
Provides coverage from the following risks:
- Fire, lightning, thunderbolt, subterranean fire, explosion, smoke, impact of falling aircraft and/or other objects that may fall from a flying aircraft.
- Riots, strikes, malicious acts and civil commotion.
- Damages or losses caused by theft with forcible entry or exit, or any attempt of theft.
- Terrorism and sabotage.
- Earthquake, volcanic eruption, and tsunami.
- Hurricane, cyclone, typhoon, windstorm, flood (including overflow of sea, river and lake), water damage, subsidence or landslip.
- Accidental damage to property.
- Additional benefit in form of cash settlement for:
- Temporary accommodation cost.
- Third party liability.
- Accidental death of insured.
- Damages or losses of housemaid's property.
Important information
- Insurance premium calculation is based on the amount of sum insured and earthquake zone of the insured location, as regulated in the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Circular Letter No. 6/SEOJK.05/2017.
- Rumahku Plus covers buildings that are categorized as Class 1 Construction. Additional underwriting process will be applied for buildings in Class 2 or Class 3 Construction. Please see below for explanations on each Classes of Construction:
- Class 1 Construction:
A building is considered as a Class 1 Construction if the walls, floors, and all other structural supporting components as well as roof covers are entirely made of non-flammable materials. Windows and/or doors and their frames, partition walls and floor covering may be ignored. - Class 2 Construction:
A building is considered as a Class 2 Construction if it fulfills the criteria of Class 1 Construction, with the following concessions:- Roof coverings may be made of hardwood shingles.
- Walls may contain flammable materials up to 20% of the wall area.
- Floors and their supporting structures may be made of wood.
- Class 3 Construction:
Other buildings other than those mentioned in Class 1 and Class 2 Construction.
How to apply & Claim Procedures
How to apply
- Visit the nearest Maybank branches to apply.
- Include the following documents as a requirement:
- Copy of ID (KITAS, KTP, SIM and similar/other document),
- Photograph of the building to be insured and its surroundings
- Photograph of the house contents.

- Please ensure that all claim notifications are done within 14 (fourteen) calendar days of risk occurrence.
